Home from Maine after a fabulous week with Kate and Anne, Cassie and Robert and John, all of whom made it a very memorable week. Great weather courtesy of Robert, the new weather worrier.

Erin and Robert visit on way to Eau Claire, WI

Yesterday we were blessed with a brief visit from Erin and Robert on their way to a family gathering in WI. Lunch @ #308 and catch-up time. A movie @ Block E....."Inception"... we took advantage of E&R's presence for movie interpretation. Dinner @ Brit's on the roof level, looking down on the bowls pitch. Back to #308 until departure time of 8:45pm.

Yesterday, 7-24-10, was the seventieth anniversary of Ann's and my entry into these United States through Saint Albans, VT, on our way to New Haven. Mary recognized it with a card and Ann with an e-mail.

Cassie's plane arrived early BUT Erin and Robert didn't land until 11:23pm in stead of 10:40pm schedule. Cassie gets a gold star!

Count down is over. Cassie is due to arrive @ MSP @ 1:40 this afternoon and Erin & Robert are arriving @ 10:40 this evening. Cassie has agreed to meet Erin and Robert!!!

The weekend includes our attending the lacrosse match between the MN Swarm and the Rochester Knighthawks on Friday evening and the MN Wild game on Saturday evening. So much for normal bedtimes.
