The Priestley comedy, "When we are married" was thoroughly enjoyable and had a fantastic cast: Raye Birk (17), Barbara Bryne (60+), Helen Carey (25+), Patricia Conolly (15), Bob Davis (50+), Peter Goetz (70+), and, OF COURSE, Sally Wingert (75+). The numbers in the ( ) are the number of Guthrie performances in which they have acted.
The play was followed by a discussion, after which we were able to have a visit with Sally, who sent her love and best wishes to Casey and John.
Then we stopped @ Sea Change (the successor to Cue) for hors d'oeuvres, to which we had been introduced @ the Guthrie's annual meeting last Monday.
A WONDERFUL AFTERNOON.
