After noon we drove to Saint Paul and Harriet Island, the site of "Taste of Minnesota", which we "cased" before a cruise up the Mississippi to Fort Snelling. The river is bordered by forest land and we were told that it appears much the same as it was when the early explorers came.
Our return downstream was rained on spectacularly. Janet called it horizontal sheets of rain. The wind blew the chairs around on the upper deck.
The rain was over by the time we returned to Harriet island --- SUNSHINE! We "tasted" "Taste of Minnesota" --- cheeseburgers.
We beat the Tigers yesterday. Today we go to the Dome to win again!
